Thanksgiving Thoughts

posted by Curt, on November 27, 2008 07:09 am

Happy Thanksgiving. Here is my thought for the day.

Each of us, no matter where we live, should be thankful today that we have an opportunity to be a part of something larger than ourselves. Can you imagine how empty life would be if we were our only concern? The greatest part of God's Plan of Happiness for His children is the fact that we pursue our happiness collectively, rather than individually. I'm grateful today for my family, my church, my colleagues, and my country, and for the happiness I derive from working together with them as a part of a cause.

And most of all I'm thankful for my beautiful wife, Roslyn. She has been the enabler of everything worthwhile that I've accomplished over the last seven years and it's been the sweetest joy of all to work together with her in building our family.
