Congratulations! Nobody I know ever seems to want to talk about the experience. Is it sort of like Vietnam?

Perhaps a little bit like Vietnam . . . no, it's just a thoroughly miserable experience. The material isn't all that difficult, the comprehensive nature of the exam is what makes it so intimidating. That, and the fact that so much is riding on it. I'd be fine talking about it, but my summary might be as close to painful for someone listening as the exam was for me. So, maybe that makes it more like a mission experience than Vietnam ;)
