David Currie Dies

David Currie of Chicago past away this evening. I must admit this was somewhat surprising to me, given that I just took Federal Courts last semester and relied quite a bit on Currie's Federal Jurisdiction in a Nutshell. I thought it was well done, and very helpful, especially since my Fed Courts professor had Currie for Fed Courts when he graduated from Chicago. I don't know much about Currie, except that I always heard his name mentioned favorably and knew that he was admired by a lot of other professors.

Anyway, I wish his family and the people at Chicago well.
